I don’t cap photo numbers—if I think you’ll love a shot, it’s going in your gallery. As a rough guide, expect around 50–80 images per hour of coverage, though it varies depending on bridal party size, guest numbers and travel between locations. Your gallery will be thoughtfully curated so the story feels complete.

You’ll receive a sneak peek shortly after your wedding, with your full gallery delivered within 8 weeks. I know how exciting it is to relive the day, so I keep you updated throughout the process.

Ideally, we’ll allow around 1–1.5 hours for your couple and bridal party photos, usually timed around golden light before sunset. The exact timing depends on your bridal party size, locations and whether we’re travelling between places.

Some couples prefer to do all their portraits together, while others choose to split them throughout the day—capturing bridal party photos earlier, enjoying their reception entrance, then stepping away for a few quiet moments together when the light is beautiful.

My goal is always to create enough breathing room so your photos feel relaxed, natural and never rushed. Your portraits should feel like a break, not a chore.

Getting ready photos aren’t just about the dress, the suit or the final touches—they’re about the people who are there with you before the day officially begins.

This is often where some of the most genuine, candid moments happen: the nervous excitement, the laughs with your favourite people, the quiet moments before everything unfolds and the emotions you might not even notice while you’re in the middle of it.

It also helps your day flow beautifully. Having me there means I can quietly keep an eye on timing, help things stay on track and make sure we have plenty of time for the moments that matter. It’s the perfect way to ease into the day with calm, connection and intention.

Some of my favourite weddings have been in the rain. I’ll always have a backup plan and scope out sheltered locations—rain often makes for some of the most romantic photographs. Weather never stops the story — it simply becomes part of it.

I’ve never missed a wedding. I take every precaution to be there for your day, and I also have strong relationships with other experienced photographers should a genuine emergency ever arise. You’ll always be looked after, no matter what.
