I'm Lisa—a farmer's daughter, one of ten kids, and someone who has spent a lifetime surrounded by big personalities, loud laughs and plenty of love.
It's probably why I feel right at home photographing weddings, families and newborns. I know how to bring calm when things get busy, make people feel comfortable and capture the moments that happen when everyone can simply be themselves.

It started with my brother's old DLSR
and that was it—I was hooked.
I started photographing everything: my friends, the country landscapes around me and my (very large) family. I remember thinking, "How good would it be to get paid to do this?"
Fifteen years, hundreds of weddings, families and newborn sessions later, turns out the answer was: pretty good.
I grew up in a small Wheatbelt town, one of ten kids. We made our own fun—riding our bikes to the BP for a 50 cent bag of lollies, building cubby houses in the bush across from our house and spending hours jumping on the trampoline.
Growing up surrounded by so many personalities is probably why I love what I do. I love hearing people's stories, learning what matters most to them and noticing the way people show love without saying a word.
Those early years in the Wheatbelt shaped the way I see beauty, honest emotion, and the kind of moments that feel like home.
These days, life looks a little different. One day I'm out chasing golden light with my camera, the next I'm chasing after our two busy boys, stepping over Lego and wondering where my hot coffee disappeared to.

Hearing kids giggle, watching two people completely wrapped up in each other, or seeing a family pause and realise just how much they have grown—that never gets old.
I get invited into some of the most meaningful moments of people's lives. The quiet anticipation before a wedding, the sleepy cuddles of a newborn at home, the laughter and connection that makes a family yours.
And honestly? I still feel pretty lucky that this is my job.
I get to witness these moments, preserve the feeling behind them, and create photographs that bring people right back to the people they love most.

Yes, all full siblings. No TV meant we got pretty good at making our own fun.
