How do I book you? +

Simply get in touch through my enquiry form. We’ll chat about the season of life you’d love to capture, the people who matter most and what you’d like your photographs to remember.

Once you’re ready to book, a deposit secures your date, with the remainder due before your session. I’m here to make the whole process feel easy and relaxed.

What if my kids don’t cooperate? +

Honestly? They don’t have to.

I don’t expect children to sit still, smile on command or behave perfectly. Kids are kids, and I’m here to photograph them exactly as they are.

Rather than forcing moments, I’ll guide them through games, movement and connection so we capture the genuine laughs, their personality and the little things that make them who they are. Real moments always trump perfect behaviour.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. +

Perfect — most people tell me the same thing.

You don’t need to know how to pose or feel comfortable in front of the camera. My goal isn’t to make you perform, but to create space for the genuine connection that already exists between you.

I’ll guide you when you need it, but the best photographs usually come from simply being yourselves and enjoying the people you’re with. I promise it will feel easier than you think.

What should we wear? +

Once you’re booked in, you’ll receive my styling guide with outfit ideas, colour palettes and tips to help everyone look beautiful together.

I recommend coordinating rather than matching, choosing timeless colours and textures that reflect your family and won’t date over time. Comfort always comes first though, you should feel like yourselves.

What if my child has a meltdown? +

They’re children — it happens, and there is absolutely no judgement from me.

We’ll slow down, have a cuddle, take a break, play a game or simply give them space. Some of the most beautiful images happen after those moments because your child feels safe enough to come back when they’re ready. Your session will always move at your child’s pace.

How long does a session take? +

Family sessions usually run for around an hour, giving us plenty of time to settle in and capture your family naturally.

Generational family sessions usually run for around 90 minutes.

Can we include grandparents? +

Absolutely. Generational sessions are some of the most meaningful photographs you’ll ever have.

Those relationships are incredibly special, and I love capturing the connection between different generations of your family.

Can we bring our dog? +

Please do. Dogs are part of the family too (although I can’t promise they won’t steal the show). I love including pets — they bring so much personality.

What if the weather is bad? +

If the weather won’t give us beautiful light or keep everyone comfortable, we’ll simply reschedule.

I’d rather wait for the right conditions and create photographs you truly love than rush your session in weather that doesn’t do it justice. Your comfort and the final result matter more than sticking to a date.

When will we receive our photos? +

Your gallery will be delivered online within 2–3 weeks.

Can we print the photos ourselves? +

Yes. Your gallery includes high-resolution images that you can print wherever you choose. You’ll also have access to an online store if you’d prefer professional prints, wall art or an heirloom album created for you.

When is the best time to book a newborn session? +

While you’re still pregnant is ideal. I only take a limited number of newborn sessions each month, so booking ahead helps make sure I can reserve space once your little one arrives.

Do we need any special outfits, blankets or swaddles? +

I bring everything we need for your session, including blankets, wraps, swaddles and beautiful little outfits for your baby, so you don’t need to worry about having everything prepared.

That said, if there’s a special blanket, soft toy, outfit or keepsake that’s meaningful to your family, I’d love to include it. These little details help make your photographs personal to you and capture the things that are special about this season of your life.

How old should our baby be for a newborn session? +

There’s no strict deadline.

Many families choose the first two weeks when babies are often sleepier, but beautiful newborn photographs can be created throughout those early weeks and beyond.

What if our baby won’t sleep, or cries the whole session? +

Totally okay. Babies cry — that’s what they do.

Your session doesn’t rely on your baby sleeping the entire time. We’ll pause for feeding, changing, cuddles and settling whenever needed.

There’s no rush. We’ll follow your baby’s lead.

Do I need a perfectly clean house for a newborn session? +

Absolutely not.

I’m not looking for a perfectly styled home — I’m looking for beautiful light, connection and the little details that make your home yours.

We’ll use the spaces that feel natural and meaningful to your family, whether that’s your nursery, your favourite chair for cuddles or a spot where you spend your everyday moments together. There’s no need to stress about having everything spotless before I arrive — I’m there to capture this beautiful season of your life as it really is.

How long does a newborn session take? +

Newborn sessions usually run for around 2 hours, to allow time for feeding, settling and plenty of breaks.
